Visceral Manipulation Level 1 Workshop

Visceral Manipulation (VM) was developed by world-renowned French Osteopathand Physical Therapist Jean-Pierre Barral. Barral’s clinical work with the visceral led to his development of a form of manual therapy that focuses on the internal organs, their environment and their influence on many structural and physiological dysfunctions.

Visceral Manipulation is based on the specific placement of soft manual forces looking to encourage the normal mobility, tone and motion of the viscera and their connective tissues. These gentle manipulations may potentially improve the functioning of individual organs, the systems the organs function within, and the structural integrity of the entire body.

Synopsis: In VM1 you will study the models and theories of functional biomechanics as viewed from Barral's innovative approach.

Course Highlights:

• Learn manual skills to locate, evaluate and normalize primary areas of dysfunction within the abdominal cavity.
• Explore the dynamics of motion and suspension in relation to organs, membranes and ligaments.
• Examine the relationship of organs and structural or neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction.
• Assess the quality of functional activity and somatic structures as they relate to an overall pattern.

Deposit:

A deposit is required US$500.00

‍Cancellation Policy(required)

Cancellations will be subject to a US$200.00 fee if made 2 calendar months or more prior to the first day of the course. If you give less than 2 calendar months notice that you are unable to attend the class, the full deposit of US$500.00 will be forfeited.  If for any reason you are forced to cancel your course after paying the full amount*, the following refund structure will apply:

• 6 weeks before course date: 100% refund less any deposit paid
• 4 weeks before course date: 50% refund less any deposit paid
• 1 week before course date: No refund

* Balance to be paid in full six weeks before course date. This constitutes the course guarantee date.

In the event a course is cancelled due to issues surrounding the school, your place on the course will be moved to the next available course, if rescheduling is not possible refunds will be paid.
