Dr Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage LEVEL 1 (THEORY)

This is the first class to the Health Care Professional Therapist program. The prerequisite to Level 1 Practical. The Level 1 Online Theory Course is self led. The date on the computer is generated each month so we can keep track of the groups. You just need to have the online portion completed before you do your Level 1 Practical in person class.‍

The Level 1 Theory component is an easy-to-follow, online PowerPoint slide format prepared by physicians from the Dr. Vodder Academy. All students entering our training program will take this component first.

This requires reading, studying and an exam. The course should take between 20 – 45 hours to complete.

Once you purchase the Coupon Code, you need to activate it immediately as it does expire. Once you have activated it, you have two (2) years to complete. It must be completed before you walk into your first day of Level 1 Practical Class.‍

The online Level I Theory course consists of seven videos filled with information.

These videos are:

1. General Information MLD
2. The History of the Dr. Vodder School
3. Anatomy
4. Physiology
5. Pathology
6. Lymphedema
7. Diffusion-Osmosis.

You will also find a pdf format of the PowerPoint: Script_base_course_English 2018 07 16 (Level I pdf online theory), which shows the slides used in the videos.

There is also a link to the online exam which needs to be successfully completed before continuation to the 4-day Level 1 Practical course.

Allow yourself enough time to watch the videos, read through the PowerPoint and the textbook.

Depending on your style of learning, this may take between 20 – 45 hours to complete.

The questions in the exam originate from the videos, PowerPoint and textbook. Once you feel prepared, go ahead and take the exam.

There are 50 questions, and you are given 50 minutes to do the exam.

Massage Therapist (MT) must have a certified Internationally recognised qualification. 

After completion of Level 1 Online – the Vodder Academy School will decide if you are eligible to take the Level 1 Practical. 

This does not apply to body work therapist such as Physio Therapist and medical practitioners
